ABOUT ME

Compassion and Action

I hold a B.A. in Psychology from UCLA, a Masters in Education from UCLA, and a Masters in Counseling Psychology from Dominican University. I'm a former elementary schoolteacher and have lived in Marin for over 25 years. I received intensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) at the highly respected Santa Rosa Center for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My family includes my husband, my two daughters, our Labrador mix, Aries (you can see a photo of him on the Phobias page), and our corgi, Willow.

I often work with clients both in and outside of the office so that I can coach my clients while they practice new skills out in the real world. I love teaching my clients CBT strategies and techniques, and watching change occur. I bring my teaching experience to every session, along with compassion and a sincere desire to understand your unique issues and how they are distressing to you. It is our collaboration together that makes change happen, and that change can be immensely impactful.

I am committed to helping my clients learn to live a life that is more satisfying, fulfilling and joyful. That is, a life that's not caught in the grip of anxiety, worry, or fear. Contact me to see how I can assist you.
